| This letterpress printed poetry Broadside is available in a limited & numbered edition of 120 signed by John Haines. It measures 10 inches by 20 inches and is printed on heavyweight Johannot paper, a hand mould paper made in France.
The text was printed in hand set 24 pt. Emerson type, with the title in 36 pt. Bernard Modern Roman, and the printer's mark in 18 pt. Goudy Bible. It was printed on a Vandercook 4T at Chris Manson's Crooked Crow Press and a Chandler & Price Pilot at Railway Station Press
The price is $35 plus $6 for S/H. It will be shipped in a heavy three inch mailing tube by Priority Mail.

John Haines has been the preeminent poet of Alaska for decades. He began writing poetry after he homesteaded near Fairbanks in the 1940's. He has since published numerous collections of his poems such as "Winter News" (1962), "News From The Glacier" (1982), and "The Owl In The Mask Of The Dreamer" (1993). He has also published books of essays such as "Living Off The Country" (1981) and "The Stars, The Snow, The Fire" (1989) which was issued in paperback by Graywolf Press in 2000.This poem has been published in Ester Republic, an independent newspaper in the Fairbanks area and in ONEARTH magazine in their Winter 2006 issue.
