We now offer the first two booklets in our series. We recently had the honor of having a pair of our Ampersand Booklets purchased by the Smithsonian Museum of American History for their contemporary letterpress collection in the Graphic Arts Department.
Booklet Number One is "A Tribute to the Ampersand" and contains four pages and a photograph of a Plymouth 30 pt. ampersand mat and is limited to 25 copies.
The second booklet is "Specimen Book of Ampersands" which contains five pages and is limited to 40 copies. There are 60 ampersands printed from the wood or lead type and arranged by point size.
Each page has been printed in black and one color on Mohawk Superfine paper in 18 pt. Goudy Bible with titles in 24 pt. Hadriano.
