The Midway Midgets 1893 Letterpress Cards The second edition of the Midway Midgets 1893 is now available.  The Kickstarter project was fully funded and the 20 decks were mailed in February.  This edition displays all 35 of the original characters that the BB&S Typefoundry created from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, also known as the Columbian Exposition.  These printers ornaments were based on actual people that the artist saw on the Midway and the deck includes 14 photographs from the Fair that show some of those people. Each of the 26, 3 1/2 by 5 inch cards are 100% cotton Lettra, hand printed in black and another color, with a 'bite' to the paper from the hand set lead type and the copper dies.  They are beautiful in person and represent a huge amount of work over three years.
