The Midway Midgets 1893 Letterpress Cards Blog Friday, February 17th, 2012 - I finally finished the second edition of the Midway Midgets 1893.  The Kickstarter project was fully funded and the 20 decks were mailed today. Saturday, March 5th, 2011 - I am very pleased that with thirty days to go out of the 60 the Kickstarter project is 61% funded.  So we are on track to reach the goal of $1,500 in pledges by April 5th. Here is a page from the specimen book showing all 35 Midway Midgets and their original cost. Friday, February 11th, 2011 - This Midway Midgets project involves printing all 35 Midgets on 3 1/2 by 5 inch Lettra cards together with photographs and other historical material and it all fits into a box.  Ten of the planned 28 cards are complete.  The deadline for the Kickstarter Project to fund the remainder of the limited edition of 130 sets of cards is April 5th and the expected completion of the project is this summer. As you  can see below it is exciting to find a photograph that matches one of the Midgets.  In another photograph of Bill he wears a large headdress and I believe that the type foundry artist just split the difference and exaggerated his hair.
